People of St. Albans raise $$$ for Centre 454
A huge thank you to all those who participated in our December 19 Carol Sing Along Service. We raised $933 for Centre 454 and their continued valuable work as this pandemic approaches its second year. Despite our having to pivot to an online only format only a couple of days beforehand, a festive group of folks sang along over Zoom while Chad, Nick and Julia provided musical leadership. - The weather is cold and wet and there many people waiting in our courtyard every day. Please consider donating a rain poncho (Dollarama has them for $3) or an umbrella that can be given out to participants.
- The centre provides essential clothing items such as socks and underwear every day – if you could make a financial donation via the website www.centre454.ca to offset the cost of these items OR if you have new items that you are able to donate, new items are always well received.
- Donated items can be brought to St. Albans / St-Bernard and placed in the donation bin located in the hallway in the front entrance of the church.
It’s a wintry day, but our hearts are warmed by the news that the people of St. Albans
